Anna Bednarczyk - researcher and sociologist, she has graduate in Urban Studies from the University for Peace in Costa Rica and in Sociology from the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. She is currently pursuing a doctoral degree at the School of Social Sciences of the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of the Polish Academy of Sciences, where she is carrying out a research project entitled “The spatiality of urban safety and care. A qualitative study of young women's life trajectories in Argentina” (funded by the National Science Centre). In her work she focuses on urban sociology and gender sociology. Facilitator of numerous participatory processes, initiator of community projects and training, co-creator of the documentary La Comuna 9: Reclaiming a City about participatory budgeting in Medellin, Colombia.
